Voodooists worship the lwas - voodoo spirits - at the base of several trees on the edge of Ville Bonheur, Haiti during the Saut D'eau voodoo festival on July 16, 2008. The 3-day festival draws voodoo practitioners and Catholics to the small, remote village each July. Different lwas are often associated with different trees.
