Haitian Voodou - Bord de Mer de Limonade

A pilgrim watches bathes in the sea during in front of the rusted wreckage of a ship during a sunrise voodou ritual at Bord de Mer de Limonade, on the north coast of Haiti on July 25, 2008. After renewing their faith in the mud pit at Plaine du Nord on the days prior, pilgrims migrate to the nearby water, their faith renewed. The site is also where Christopher Columbus' Santa Maria sank in 1492.
